The method comprises the following steps that: a main terminal obtains a first kernel number and first quantity and first digits of first general registers, and obtains a second kernel number of each slave terminal, CPU (Central Processing Unit) occupation ratio of the slave terminal and second quantity and second digits of second general registers; the main terminal analyzes a to-be-executed application program to obtain the number of parallel threads; and when the main terminal judges that the number of parallel threads exceeds the first kernel number and judges that one or more slave terminals, having the characteristics that the second quantity is greater than or equal to the first quantity, the second digit is greater than or equal to the first digit and the CPU occupation ratio of the slave terminal is lower than a first preset value, are existent, the main terminal and the one or more slave terminals are used for processing the to-be-executed application program. The invention further discloses a processing system for realizing the method. According to the method, the to-be-executed application program is processed through the multiple terminals, so that the processing speed of the multi-parallel-thread program is increased.
