Abstract

The invention discloses a method for improving a curved channel of a centrifugal compressor on the basis of an energy gradient theory, wherein a reasonable design for the curved channel is capable of improving the overall running efficiency of the centrifugal compressor. The method disclosed by the invention comprises the following steps: simulating flowing physical parameters in a model stage of the centrifugal compressor; finding a position with the most instable flowing in the curved channel according to the energy gradient function values of various positions in the curved channel, improving the second half of arc-shaped meridianal contour of the curved channel to be a right-angled lead angle-shaped meridianal contour which comprises an arc section and two straight-line sections connected with the two ends of the arc section respectively; and re-calculating the energy gradient function value of the position with the most instable flowing in the curved channel, and optimizing the optimal radius of the arc section of the right-angled lead angle-shaped meridianal contour of the curved channel. According to the method disclosed by the invention, the optimal meridianal contour is determined by comparing the energy gradient function values of the arc section of the right-angled lead angle-shaped meridianal contour of the curved channel under different radiuses; and the improved curved channel is capable of reducing instable flowing in the curved channel, and also improving flowing instability in a backflow device.
