A method of efficiently delivering solar power and a high-efficiency solar power system. A high-efficiency solar power generation system, the system combines a plurality of photovoltaic power sources that can be converted by a basic phase DC-DC photovoltaic converter (6) and a changed phase DC-DC photovoltaic converter (8), the basic phase DC-DC photovoltaic converter (6) and the output of the phase-changing DC-DC photovoltaic converter (8) are combined through a low energy storage combiner circuit (9). These converters may be synchronously controlled by a synchronous phase control (11) of synchronous operation of the switches to provide a converted combined photovoltaic DC output (10). The converter can be provided for individual source conversion or a phase-controlled mode of operation that provides a combined low photovoltaic energy storage DC-DC photovoltaic converter (15) at the string level or at the level of an individual panel.
