Abstract

The invention provides a double-side micro pyramid array retroreflection structure. A basic structure unit is a double-side aligned micro triangular pyramid array. The inclined angles of three surfaces forming micro pyramids are greater than 90 degrees. Light rays enter the lower pyramid from the air through the upper pyramid via refraction and return to the upper pyramid through multiple times of total reflection on the surface of the lower pyramid and then return along the original path through reflection so that retroreflection is formed. The obtained retroreflection structure has advantages of being high in retroreflection angle, high in wide-angle reflection efficiency and low in micro pyramid processing difficulty.
