Abstract

The invention provides a method, equipment and system for forwarding a message, relating to the technical field of communication. On the premise of not changing current networking and equipment capabilities, IP edge equipment is unnecessary to adjust after an ISP is changed by a user. The method comprises the following steps that: a remote authentication server receives an ISP selection message forwarded by the IP edge equipment, stores a corresponding relationship between an ISP VLAN tag and a set of identifiers, receives first authentication information sent by the IP edge equipment, obtains the ISP signed by a CPE according to at least one identifier in the first authentication information and the corresponding relationship between the ISP VLAN tag and the set of identifiers after the CPE is successfully authenticated, and sends the ISP VLAN tag of the ISP to the IP edge equipment, such that the IP edge equipment sends a first data message to the ISP equipment according to the ISP VLAN tag. The embodiment provided by the invention is used for forwarding the message.
