Problems solved by technology

Although this method can still obtain better reconstruction results when the scanning angle is limited, this method requires hundreds of iterations to solve the objective function, and the calculation time required for reconstructing CT images is greatly increased, far exceeding the classical analysis. The reconstruction method cannot meet the requirements of clinical CT real-time imaging
[0005] Although the classic analytical reconstruction method has a fast reconstruction speed, it will lose the original details of the image when the scanning angle is limited, resulting in a large number of artifacts and noise in the reconstructed image, which seriously affects the resolution of feature points.

Embodiment Construction

[0078] The technical solutions of the present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0079] A limited-angle cone-beam CT image reconstruction method based on geometric image moments, such as figure 1 shown, including the following steps:

[0080] Taking the three-dimensional Shepp-logan head model as the computer simulation experiment object, the size is 512*512*60, and the distances from the X-ray source of the simulated CT machine to the rotation center and the detector are 570mm and 1040mm, respectively. The rotational scanning range of the cone beam CT equipment is [γ,360°-γ], where γ=50°; the angle sampling value is 1160; each sampling angle corresponds to 672 detector units, and the size of the detector unit is 1.407mm.

[0081] Step (1), obtain the cone beam projection data under the condition of limited angle scanning as attached figure 2 , 3 , 4, ρ is the distance between the coordinate origin O and the featu...

Abstract

The present invention discloses a limited angle cone-beam CT image reconstruction method based on a geometric image moment. The method comprises the steps of: converting obtained cone-beam projection data into known Radon data; obtaining projection-geometric moment transformation of the known Radon data; according to the projection-geometric moment transformation of the known Radon data, calculating the geometric image moment; according to the geometric image moment, estimating projection-geometric moment transformation of unknown Radon data; determining the unknown Radon data through inverse transformation; performing data combination on the known Radon data and the unknown Radon data; obtaining complemented three-dimensional data; and reconstructing a CT image. According to the method of the present invention, a cone-beam CT image that meets the requirements of clinical diagnosis and has high quality can be reconstructed under the conditions of reducing a scanning range.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a medical image reconstruction method, in particular to a CT image reconstruction method. Background technique [0002] As a conventional and effective clinical medical diagnostic tool, X-ray computerized tomography (X-ray Computerized Tomography, CT) provides clinicians with rich information on human organ tissues. However, relevant studies have shown that a complete CT scan is usually accompanied by a high level of ionizing radiation, and high doses of ionizing radiation can induce abnormal metabolism in the human body and even cancer, leukemia and other diseases. Therefore, how to reduce the dose of X-rays while ensuring the quality of reconstructed images to meet the requirements of clinical diagnosis has become the focus of research in the field of medical image processing. [0003] One of the important ways to reduce the radiation dose of patients clinically is to reduce the CT scanning range, that is, to limit the rotat...
