Abstract

The invention provides a label processing device and a processing method thereof. The device can effectively issue labels. The label processing device has a first setting unit, a second setting unit, and a label processing unit. The first setting unit sets up a standard length more than a length of a minimum sheet which can be processed based on unit label number of each slice. If the total label number is not an integral multiples of the unit label number, the second setting unit selects an integer value of the value obtained by dividing the total label number with the unit label number. The sheet number of the standard sheet with the standard length is set one less than the integer value. A product value of the inter value and the unit label number is calculated. A difference label number equivalent to a difference value of the total label number and the product value is calculated. An adjusting slice with an adjusting length corresponding to a residue label number after the sum of the unit label number and the difference label number is set. The label processing unit shears the slice sent from sheet base paper containing a plurality of labels at certain intervals.
