Abstract

The present invention discloses a picture pasting method and apparatus based on a browser and belongs to the technical field of communication. The apparatus comprises: a detecting module used for invoking a system clipboard and acquiring data stored in the clipboard when it is detected that a user triggers a pasting operation; a determining module used for determining whether data type of the acquired data is a picture type; an acquiring module used for acquiring address data of the picture in the clipboard when the data type is the picture type; and an inserting module used for generating an img element, storing the address data of the picture in the img element, and inserting the img element into a browser page to display the picture. According to the picture pasting method and apparatus based on the browser, when pasting and uploading the picture in the browser page, a user does not need to select the picture from local pictures and can directly perform screenshot to paste the picture, thereby simplifying the picture pasting step, and improving the user experience.
