Abstract

The present invention discloses a geocoding method and apparatus. The method comprises: performing word segmentation on a to-be-matched geographical address; for each word segment, obtaining, from a preset door address library, a pre-stored word segment matching the word segment; aggregating prestored word segments whose spatial distance is less than a preset first distance threshold into a same aggregation set according to spatial location information in attribute information of the prestored word segments; selecting one prestored word segment from each aggregation set corresponding to each word segment as an available prestored word segment of the word segment; and combining the available prestored word segments according to a word order of word segments, corresponding to the available prestored word segments, in a to-be-matched geographical location, generating to-be-matched results of the to-be-matched geographical address, and selecting one to-be-matched result from the to-be-matched results as a final matching result and performing geocoding to obtain a geocoding result. According to the geocoding method and apparatus disclosed by the present invention, automatic geocoding is achieved, no manual intervention is required, and processing efficiency and matching efficiency of geocoding are improved.
