Abstract

According to the surge arrester, members of the auxiliary ignitor are protected from being damaged through following steps: the first main electrode is provided with a hole, the electric voltage switching member is arranged in the hole, a first end opening of the electric voltage switching member is electrically connected with the first main electrode; the ignition member is electrically connected with a second end opening of the electric voltage switching member and is arranged at a side edge, facing end sides of the main electrodes, of the electric voltage switching member.
