Abstract

Embodiments of the invention provide an execution method and device of deletion operation for group member resources, and an originator device so as to solve the technical problems that operation for each member of a group fails after the member resources are deleted, and then a communication resource is wasted. The method comprises receiving deletion requests, sent by an originator, for the group member resources, distributing the deletion requests to the members according to uniform resource identifiers (URIs) of the group member resources, receiving responses of the members, deleting the group resources or updating the group resources, and sending the responses to the originator. The technical scheme of the embodiments is advantageous in that, after the group resources are deleted, the member URIs in a memberList is updated or the group is deleted; or the operation for deleting group resource is changed into updating operation, invalid operation for the group resource of the deleted members can be prevented, and a network resource is saved.
