Abstract

The invention discloses a method for purifying water by building an ecological floating island with lake silt. The method comprises the following steps: (1) silt in a lake is fetched, and is subjected to drying, molding, glaze sealing and surface roughening treatment in a nearby factory; and the treated material is fired into non-absorbent floating particles with specific weight of 400-600kg*m<-3> and particle size of 5-20mm; (2) the ecological floating island is constructed with the floating particles; a floating planting platform is constructed in a layered way, wherein the floating planting platform is formed from top to bottom by connecting planting plain soil, a grass mat layer, a grid and the floating particles wrapped by a net; the floating particles are wrapped with an anti-aging high-strength plastic net or metal net; during an early stage of the construction of the floating planting platform, the platform is sprayed with microbes, such that oriented inoculation cultivation is carried out; and (3) plants are planted on the ecological floating island. With the method, silt recycling and the purification of polluted water are realized. Polluted water purification problems such as lake eutrophication can be solved, overall water green area can be increased, wetland can be restored, and the climate can be better regulated.
