AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This new process allows for better use of selenate fertilizers while reducing costs compared to existing methods such as adding calcium or sulfur sources like zinc oxide (ZnO). Additionally, this process simplifies its operation because there's no harmful substances added during treatment instead relying on an elemental metal salt that helps convert Se2into Selenium which makes up about 70% of all available selenium found naturally throughout nature worldwide. Overall, these technical benefits make the resulting products more effective than current technologies without causing negative side health hazards associated with excessive exposure to mineral elements used alone.

Problems solved by technology

This patents discuss how adding selenium (Se) could help reduce harm caused by poor mineral sources like selenite fertilizers used worldwide. To address this problem, there were developed specialized materials containing Se with high levels of selenium called selenium concentrate(SFC). These concentrated solutions contain mostly selenium, but they may include other important metals like zinc sulfate nitrogen oxide hydroxyproline acid protein synthesis catalyst system, making up about 10% of total selenium consumptions. By increasing their amount in these compositions, we aim to provide effective ways to supply selenium without causing excessive negative side effects associated with traditional approaches involving applying selenium substance directly onto vegetables grown over cultivators or feeders.

Embodiment 1

[0021] Embodiment one: spraying

[0022] When applying the nutrient solution of the present invention, the nutrient solution is diluted 40 times at the flowering stage; the nutrient solution is diluted 30 times at the young fruit stage; the nutrient solution is diluted 20 times at the green fruit stage; 20 times, the interval of each spraying is 1 month, and the amount of spraying is based on the wetness of the leaves of pear flowers and pear trees.

[0023] The selenium-enriched pear produced by the method of the invention is tested by the Fruit and Seedling Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing Center (Zhengzhou) of the Ministry of Agriculture, and the selenium content reaches 50-60ug / kg, and the selenium content of the control is 1.5ug / kg.

Embodiment 2

[0026] Embodiment two: instillation

[0027] Drill an oblique hole on the trunk of the pear tree, the oblique hole is obliquely downward, forms an included angle of 45° with the horizontal direction, and has a depth of 5mm. Inject the selenium nutrient solution into the inclined hole 3 times a year. The nutrient solution is packed in a hanging water bottle and hung on the branches. In the green fruit stage, the interval between each infusion is 30 days, the volume of each infusion is 250ml, and the infusion speed is controlled so that the nutrient solution in the inclined hole does not overflow.

[0028] The selenium content of the selenium-enriched pear produced by the method of the invention can reach 35-50 ug / kg, and the selenium content of the control is 1.5 ug / kg.

Abstract

The invention provides a selenium rich organic pear plantation method comprising the following steps: 1, using a spraying or dripping mode to apply a nutrient solution, i.e., (spraying mode) diluting the nutrient solution into mist and spraying the mist onto pear flowers or leaf surfaces in different growing periods of the pears in each year, or (dripping mode) drilling 1-10 oblique holes on the trunk of a pear tree, dripping selenium nutrient solution 2-5 times in different growing periods of the pears in each year, wherein the dripping interval is 20-40 days, and the dripping amount is 100-500ml according to tree ages; 2, diluting the nutrient solution by 30-50 times in the flower season in the spraying mode, diluting the nutrient solution by 20-40 times in the fruitlet period, diluting the nutrient solution by 15-30 times in the green fruit period, and diluting the nutrient solution by 15-30 times in the expansion period. The nutrient solution and application method thereof allow the selenium element to be easily absorbed by plants and converted into organic selenium, thus improving selenium utilization rate, and the cost is low.
