Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a system for generating test data by test cases. The method comprises the steps of editing and archiving the test cases by using Excel to obtain a test case list; successively obtaining each piece of test case content in each page from a first page of the test cases in the test case list; replacing parameters required to be configured in a to-be-converted test case according to a parameter configuration table; defining the test data; assigning all input signal initial values in an initial value list to the test data, and assigning an output signal value corresponding to an output signal name sequence in the to-be-converted test case to the test data; and converting a time sequence and a data sequence into corresponding test data and assigning values to corresponding positions of input signal names as same as input signal names corresponding to the time sequence and the data sequence in the test data. According to the method and system, the test cases are archived by using Excel and the test cases in the Excel format automatically generate the test data by using Matlab.
