Except a lowest-level cloud storage system, each cloud storage system uniquely comprises at least one lower-level cloud storage system respectively. The first-level cloud storage system is used for determining whether itself has a resource that is requested to access or not upon receiving a resource access request from a client. On the condition that the first-level cloud storage system determines that itself has the resource that is requested to access, the first-level cloud storage system returns the resource that is requested to access to the client.
