The information processing method comprises steps of detecting whether a current working mode of a first function module in the first electronic device is in a first working mode to obtain a detection result, controlling an approaching sensing module in the first electronic device to be in a switch-on state when the detection result shows that the current working mode is in the first working mode, wherein the approaching sensing module comprises a first emission module and a first reception module and the approaching sensing module is positioned in a second position which is different from a first position where the first function module is positioned; and controlling the first reception module to be in the switch-on state and the first emission module to be in a switch-off state when the detection result shows that the working mode is in a second working mode different from the first working mode.
