The method comprises the steps of extracting resource data including class information from webpages of resource sites; based on the resource data, generating one or more class information-carrying subject-object structure data relationships; obtaining one or more to-be-classified encyclopedia entries and matching the encyclopedia entries with the one or more subject-object structure data relationships; making the class information corresponding to the matched subject-object structure data as the classes to which the corresponding encyclopedia entries belong. According to the embodiments of the invention, the classes of encyclopedia entries can be determined by using the known class information of resource data in webpages of resource sites. Compared with the prior art in which the machine learning method is adopted and a part of entry classes are manually marked and unknown entry classes are predicted, the technical solution provided by the invention can save manpower cost and is high in accuracy rate.
