Abstract

The invention provides a single-phase outer rotor motor, which comprises a stator and a rotor surrounding the stator, wherein the stator comprises a magnetic core and windings wound on the magnetic core; the magnetic core comprises a yoke and a plurality of teeth which extend outwards along the radial direction from the outer edge of the yoke; a tooth crown is formed at the tail end of each tooth; notches are formed between the adjacent tooth crowns; each tooth crown comprises an outer wall surface toward the rotor; the rotor comprises a shell and a plurality of permanent magnets laminated in the shell; two adjacent permanent magnets along the circumferential direction of the rotor have different polarities; each permanent magnet comprises an inner wall surface facing the stator; the permanent magnets are of an asymmetric structure; the distances between the inner wall surfaces of the permanent magnets and the outer wall surfaces of the tooth crowns in the radial direction change along the circumferential direction; a uniform and asymmetric air gap is formed between the stator and the rotor; and the circumferential widths of the notches are smaller than or equal to 5 times of the minimum width of the air gap.
