Embodiments of the invention provide a webpage conversion method and apparatus. The method comprises the steps of receiving a conversion operation of a user on a to-be-converted webpage; analyzing the to-be-converted webpage according to the conversion operation to obtain an analytic result, wherein the analytic result at least comprises the type of a webpage element in the to-be-converted webpage; determining a document format of a target document obtained after conversion; and converting the webpage element in the to-be-converted webpage into a document element corresponding to the webpage element in type according to a preset type corresponding relationship between a document element type of the target document and the type of the webpage element, and storing the document element in the document of the determined document format. By applying the embodiments of the method and the apparatus, the to-be-converted webpage can be directly processed and the user does not need to manually localize the webpage by repeatedly adopting a pasting-copying method, so that webpage contents browsed by the user can be automatically and quickly stored in a local document and the user operation is more convenient.
