Benefits of technology

This technology helps prevent damage from collisions between electrical cables when they cross over barriers or other obstructions while still allowing them to move freely through space without being affected negatively affected. It uses an elongated element called a tensional rod attached to one end on each side of two separated ends connected with another piece of equipment like a winch drum. When pulled backward along its length, this mechanism pulls apart wires towards itself causing their stretching due to friction against these elements. By keeping track of how much force has been applied to the wiring system beforehand, any variations in pressure caused by external factors such as vibrations may also cause unwanted movement.

Problems solved by technology

This technical problem addressed in this patents relates to improving the design for splitting cables while maintaining their security without being damaged themselves. Existing methods have limitations including requiring extra steps like adding protection frames around the steel bars or attaching overhead guards onto top ends of the breakers. Additionally, current designs require separate tie off devices along the length of cable runway sections, leading to increased risk of injury.

Abstract

The invention provides an overhead line construction protection structure during barrier spanning. The protection structure comprises bearing cables and a protection net; two ends of each bearing cable are arranged on corresponding iron towers; the bearing cables are arranged above split guide wires when used; the bottom of the protection net arranged under the split guide wire; the bearing cables are equipped with a moving trolley in a guiding and moving manner; and a traction piece which is used for being connected with at least one of a traction steel wire rope, a traction walking plate and the split guide wire so as to allow the moving trolley to move along with the traction walking plate is arranged on the moving trolley. By use of the overhead line construction protection structure during barrier spanning, the falling off potential energy of the split guide wire can be reduced.
