Through establishing a linear function of a fault rate of each component part of intelligent transformer station secondary equipment, changing with a temperature, according to the temperature of each component part inside a cabinet, monitored by a monitoring main station, a secondary equipment fault rate is calculated; then according to a load quantity connected with an intelligent transformer station, a load loss value caused by shutdown of the intelligent transformer station due to faults of the secondary equipment is calculated; and then an operation risk value of the intelligent transformer station secondary equipment is obtained by multiplying the secondary equipment fault probability value of the intelligent transformer station by the load loss value, and operation risks of the secondary equipment of the intelligent transformer station can be quantitatively evaluated through the calculated risk value, such that a reference is provided for maintenance work of the secondary equipment of the intelligent transformer station, and safe and stable operation of the intelligent transformer station is facilitated.
