The invention provides a converged communication method of an LTE trunking communication system. The method comprises the following steps: a terminal, supporting a standard LTE trunking communication mode and a private LTE trunking communication mode at the same time, initiates a standard LTE trunking communication registration request when being started up and carries a private field containing a private registration identifier bit; an eMME transmits the private field to a TCF, the TCF judges that the registration request carries the private registration identifier bit, records a registration type of the terminal as standard LTE trunking registration and private LTE trunking registration, and carries the private registration identifier bit in standard LTE trunking communication registration response to indicate whether the private LTE trunking registration is successful, and the terminal records that the standard LTE trunking registration and the private LTE trunking registration are both successful after receiving the standard LTE trunking communication registration response. The new converged trunking communication registration mode adopted in the converged communication method provided by the invention not only reduces the signaling cost, but also accelerates the registration speed.
