The invention relates to a power supply apparatus, and specifically relates to a dual-circuit power supply apparatus for a media gateway. A media gateway in the prior art is accessed by a single-circuit power supply, so that the reliability is relatively low; and the input cost is too high if a backup media gateway and power supply equipment thereof are adopted to solve the problem. The dual-circuit power supply apparatus provided by the invention adopts three phases of relays; a relay J1 and a relay J2 are main contactors, and auxiliary contacts are in a normally-closed state; a relay J3 is a middle relay, and electric mechanical linkage interlocking of the circuit is realized; when a phase line L1 and a phase line L2 are in normal power supply state, the phase line L1 is used for supplying power; when the phase line L1 is in failure and when the phase line L2 is in normal state, the phase line L2 is used for supplying power; and when the phase line L2 is in failure and when the phase line L1 is in normal state, the phase line L1 is used for supplying power.
