[0024] figure 1 is a schematic diagram of the ophthalmic surgery simulator 100 . The simulator 100 comprises a housing 101 within which is located a computer 102 comprising a memory and a processor. The processor is configured to execute software within the memory, particularly software for simulating medical procedures. The computer 102 is connected to the VDU 104 , the model 106 and the first and second haptic systems 108 , 110 mounted to the housing 101 . The simulator 100 is used to accept voice commands from the user.
