Abstract

The invention relates to the motor control field and discloses a three-phase motor open-phase detection method and system. The method comprises steps that when a start instruction is received, a detection voltage is applied to a first stator winding and a second stator winding of a three-phase motor; if a current absolute value of each stator winding after application of the detection voltage reaches a preset current threshold within preset duration, the detection voltage is applied to the first stator winding or the second stator winding and is further applied to a third stator winding; if a current absolute value of each stator winding after re-application of the detection voltage reaches the preset current threshold within the preset duration, the three-phase motor is determined to be in a non-open-phase state, and the three-phase motor starts. The method is advantaged in that whether the three-phase motor is an open-phase motor can be detected through applying the detection voltage onto the three-phase motor two times, the three-phase motor starts after the three-phase motor is determined to be in the non-open-phase state, open-phase protection of the motor is realized, and operation reliability of the motor is further improved.
