Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a system for loading balancing of an ecological monitoring IPv6 sensor network. The method comprises the following steps that (1) a wireless sensor network is taken as an ecological environment monitoring network and an anycast address is configured for the ecological environment monitoring network; (2) each agent node initializes the anycast address to an own anycast address; (3) each collector node utilizes anycast to send a registration message to one agent node to register and periodically sends collector node information to the agent node; (4) when a sensor node needs to send data, the sensor node utilizes anycast to send a request communication message to any agent node to request one collector node; the agent node which receives the request communication message returns an IP address of the current collector node with the minimum load to the sensor node and records binding between the collector node and the sensor node; and (5) the sensor node transmits data to the collector node according to the received IP address of the collector node. According to the method and the system, the load balancing can be better carried out.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of wireless sensor networks of computer networks, and in particular relates to a load balancing method and system for ecological monitoring IPv6 sensor networks. Background technique [0002] Ecological monitoring is to monitor various elements of the ecological environment, which can be accomplished by using different techniques such as physics, chemistry, and ecology. In this paper, wireless sensor network is used for ecological environment monitoring. [0003] Wireless sensor networks are often used in ecological monitoring. Usually, a sensor node is composed of three parts, a sensing subsystem uses sensors to obtain data of various elements of the ecological environment, a processing subsystem processes and stores data, and a communication subsystem uses transceivers (RF) to send data In addition, each sensor node needs to have power supply. Connect each sensor node through a wireless link to build a network an...
