Abstract

This washing machine executes, in a cleaning step: a first step which supplies water up to a first predetermined water level and which, within a pump chamber, dissolves a detergent and foams a washing liquid by rotating a pulsator and a blade; a second step for supplying water up to a second predetermined water level higher than the first predetermined water level and rotating the pulsator and the blade to supply the foam and the washing liquid, which are within the pump chamber, to a washing-cum-dewatering tank from a lower discharge opening; and a third step for supplying water up to a third predetermined water level higher than the second predetermined water level and rotating the pulsator and the blade to supply the foam and the washing liquid, which are within the pump chamber, to the washing-cum-dewatering tank from the lower discharge opening and an upper discharge opening.
