Abstract

The invention discloses a video file storing and managing system based on a Hash grid index. The video file storing and managing system comprises a file header used for managing RPF file information, a subpackage memory module used for solving index redundancy, a partition module used for concentrating subpackages into one data file and a Hash grid index module used for achieving tile creating, reading, updating and deleting of O(1) time efficiency and reducing collision between space data. The video file storing and managing system has the advantages that common defects of the Hash index are overcome through a static Hash technology, the tile Hash index with local redundancy is used for exchange limited sparse space with constant time, and namely the location time of a single tile is not prolonged along with increase of tile data particularly for video file access with a high requirement for efficiency. Range query and partial matching query operation in a Hash domain are effectively supported, the video file storing and managing system has the capacity of dynamic addition, and large-scale addition and deletion of tiles does not cause reforming of a Hash table.
