The method comprises the following steps: sensing turning vehicles through an inductive coil of an LC oscillating circuit with a self-oscillating function; and then determining frequency change of the LC oscillating circuit through a controller of the mountain road turning early warning system so as to judge whether mobile vehicles pass or not. According to the turning vehicle detecting method and circuit based on the mountain road turning early warning system, the method for detecting the vehicles is not affected by any factors such as environments and illumination. The detecting circuit can normally work in different territories and at different humidity, and has the characteristics of high reliability, easiness in maintenance and the like; the LC oscillating circuit is simple in hardware design and easy to implement; and therefore, the development costs of the mountain road early warning system are reduced.
