The method comprises the following steps of receiving multipath webcast video streams sent by a server; configuring a play attribute of the multipath webcast video streams, wherein the play attribute is used for indicating a main play video stream and an auxiliary play video stream in the multipath webcast video streams; and returning the play attribute of the multipath webcast video streams to the server so that the server makes a webcast client play the multipath webcast video streams according to the main play video stream and the auxiliary play video stream. The technical scheme provides a new webcast mode, the multipath video streams can be broadcasted in a same live broadcasting room and forms and contents of the webcast are enriched.
