The method includes: mounting strain meters and temperature sensors on piers of continuous rigid frame bridges or temporary solidification columns; adopting a least square method for obtaining a strain and temperature statistical relation according to temperature and strain measurement results obtained under the condition that the bridges are free of construction loads; subjecting strain measured at a construction stage to temperature influence correction to obtain load strain, and obtaining load imbalance offset in a cantilever construction process on the basis of the load strain; judging integral stability of the bridges according to the load imbalance offset. The problem of imbalance load quantification in a bridge cantilever construction process is solved, and safety in bridge cantilever construction is improved.
