Abstract

The method comprises the following steps of judging whether or not a second data table which has a same table name with a first data table in a target database exists in a source database; if yes, establishing a mapping data table corresponding to the second data table in the source database; searching for newly added fields in the first data table, and establishing mapping fields which have same field names with the newly added fields in the mapping data table; judging whether or not the found newly added fields pre-configure primary key constraints and defaults; if yes, recording the names of the newly added fields and the defaults; adding the data stored in the second data table, the names of the recorded newly added fields and the defaults to the mapping data table by utilizing insert statements. The compatibility of the updated database and a soft version obtained after network devices are updated can be effectively improved by utilizing the provided method.
