The embodiment of the invention provides a video feature information display method and device. The method comprises the following steps of: obtaining one or more barrage texts of video data; for the one or more barrage texts, performing clustering, so that one or more barrage categories are obtained; according to the one or more barrage categories, identifying one or more key video segments from the video data; extracting video feature information corresponding to the key video segments; and pushing the video feature information to a client side to display. By means of the embodiment of the invention, the process of screening out an interested part by users in a manner of watching the whole video data again can be avoided; therefore, time consumption is greatly reduced; waste of bandwidth resources is reduced; and the efficiency is increased.
