Abstract

The invention discloses a remote calling method and device. The method comprises the following steps of obtaining an intersection of a service address list and grouping information, wherein the service address list comprises an IP address of each service provision device for providing a target service and the grouping information comprises an IP address of the service provision device of each service included in routing packets of RPC calling, and one IP address is determined as a target address for calling the target service from the intersection; and calling the target service according to the target address and transmitting the grouping information of the routing packets to the service provision device corresponding to the target address in order to make the service provision device call the next service according to the grouping information. According to the method and the device, the network overhead is reduced during the RPC calling of the routing packets.
