The present disclosure relates to pumps for systems for dispensing liquids as sprays. The pump includes a housing forming a chamber and a dispensing port, and a regulator fixedly disposed within the chamber. The shell is elastic and has a longitudinal direction. The regulator includes an inner valve to regulate the flow of liquid between the container and the chamber, an outer valve to regulate the flow of liquid between the chamber and the dispensing port, and a stem extending therebetween. The rod is elastic along its length. The regulator further includes a displacement guide located at the exterior of the upper stem inside the outer valve. The housing includes a guide area located adjacent to the displacement guide. The outer edge of the displacement guide and at least a portion of the inner surface of the guide area are adapted to each other so as to allow relative displacement between the displacement guide and the guide area in the longitudinal direction of the housing, thereby converting the lateral bending of the stem into a longitudinal direction of the housing between the outer valve and the housing.
