The invention discloses a joint
dilator designed for an atlantoaxial lateral joint, the joint
dilator comprises a driving mechanism and two
distraction arms, the far end of each
distraction arm is provided with a bifurcated frame, the bifurcated frame comprises two
lateral bending parts which expand and extend outwards from one
distraction arm to the other distraction arm, and the two
lateral bending parts are connected with the driving mechanism. The two
lateral bending parts are symmetrically arranged with respect to the axis of the distraction arm and are in an outwards-expanded state, the
tail ends of the lateral bending parts are provided with forked feet used for making contact with a
joint surface, and the forked feet and the axis of the distraction arm are arranged in parallel, so that the forked feet, the lateral bending parts and the far end of the distraction arm form a U-shaped fork structure. The two problems of uneven stress and view shielding in
joint surface distraction are solved, two pairs of stable supporting lines are formed by the four forked feet, the
joint surface is lifted and distraction in a balanced mode, it is ensured that the left and right outer atlantoaxial joints are distraction in a consistent range, single-side
dislocation is avoided, and the problems that due to a traditional double-claw instrument, the joint surface is inclined, the single-point pressure intensity is too large, and the joint surface distraction effect is poor are solved. And the risks of
cartilage injury and instrument slippage are reduced.
