Abstract

The invention provides a fingerprint identification method and device, equipment, and a storage medium. The method is applied to the electronic equipment including a touch screen and a fingerprint sensor, the fingerprint sensor is arranged in the touch screen, and a fingerprint response region is formed at the corresponding position of the touch screen. The method comprises steps that a touch signal detected by the touch screen is acquired; whether a start condition of the fingerprint sensor is satisfied is determined according to the touch signal and the fingerprint response region; if the start condition is satisfied, the fingerprint sensor starts, and fingerprint identification is carried out through utilizing the information acquired by the fingerprint sensor. The method is advantaged in that not only can strength of cover plate glass be guaranteed, but also relatively large power consumption generated by the fingerprint sensor in a normally-opened state can be avoided, and low consumption is reduced.
