Abstract

The present invention discloses a data synchronization method and a system. The method comprises the steps of receiving a data synchronization request by a second electronic device and obtaining the first verification information; according to the first verification information, generating a temporary key by the second electronic device, generating a ciphertext through encrypting data by using the temporary key and uploading the ciphertext and the first verification information to a server; sending the second verification information to the server by a first electronic device; on the condition that the second verification information and the first verification information are verified to be the same by the server, downloading the ciphertext by the first electronic device; regenerating the temporary key by the first electronic device according to the second verification information, and decrypting the ciphertext to obtain data by using the regenerated temporary key. According to the technical scheme of the invention, the method and the system are applied to the data synchronization between the first electronic device and the second electronic device. Via the ciphertext transmission mode, the security of the data synchronization process is ensured.
