Abstract

A microbeamformer coupled to the group of array elements is provided, the microbeamformer partially beamforming the group of elements to form a plurality of receive lines. In the microbeamformer, delay lines may be configured to output multiple signal streams that may be delayed by different amounts to support multi-line reception in the microbeamformer. The readout process during beamforming is non-destructive, allowing multiple rows of receive beams to be generated from a single delay line.

Description

Background technique [0001] The ultrasonic array transducer can be configured as a single-line transducer element for imaging the two-dimensional (2D) image plane, or is configured to image transducer elements for imaging 3D regions. Two-dimensional (2D) array. The 2D array includes components extending in both directions and altitudes, which can be fully operated to focus and manipulate beams in any orientation or altitude direction. These arrays can be configured in flat or bending orientation. [0002] Two-dimensional array exchangers with a large number of components and 1D arrays are due to their problems of their large transducer components. Since each element must be provided for each component, a separate signal line must be provided for each element. The 1D array can include 100-200 elements, requiring 100-200 signal lines that can be accommodated in a relatively small and light probe cable, but can be operated along with the system beamformer of the relatively less chann...
