Abstract

The invention relates to a method for controlling upgrading of terminal equipment by the aid of an adjacent node and a forwarding node. The method comprises the steps that the forwarding node picks up the type and operating system version number, which are broadcast by an adjacent node thereof, of new terminal equipment and judges whether target terminal equipment exists in a wireless coverage range of the forwarding node or not, wherein the type of the target terminal equipment is consistent with that of the new terminal equipment, and the operating system version number of the target terminal equipment is lower than the operating system version number of the new terminal equipment; if so, the forwarding node reports a system upgrading packet acquisition request containing the operating system version number of the new terminal equipment to a convergence unit through a filtering gateway, and sends an operating system upgrading packet which is sent by the convergence unit through the filtering gateway and corresponds to the operating system version number of the new terminal equipment through to the target terminal equipment to perform operating system upgrading. According to the invention, automatic upgrading of operating systems of mass terminal equipment connected with the Internet of things can be realized by the aid of the adjacent node, and the upgrading efficiency of the operating systems of the mass terminal equipment is improved.
