Abstract

The invention provides an interconnection architecture for a main board and a BBU (Battery Backup). A logic compiling module maintains the time series status of a BBU module; a power module is connected with the logic compiling module, and fault signals of the power module are filtered by the logic compiling module and then sent to a detection control module and a main board management module as interrupt signals; the detection control module is connected with the BBU module and the logic compiling module respectively, the logic compiling module detects the in-place status of the power module every preset time period, after the logic compiling module detects power-off of the power module, the logic compiling module sends a power module fault signal to the detection control module, the detection control module sends an enabling signal to the BBU module, and the BBU module begins discharging when receiving the enabling signal. When the power module is powered off, the power of the BBU module can enable data cached in a server host to be stored into a system disk within certain time, thereby avoiding data loss caused by power-off.
