Abstract

The application provides a wide area optical network based on a leased circuit, comprising more than three local networks, a leased circuit, and zero layer optical switches. The number of the zero layer optical switches is at least the same with that of the local networks. Each zero layer optical switch is arranged between one local network and the leased circuit. The invention further provides a wide area optical network topology adjustment method and a device based on a leased circuit. The method includes the following steps: determining a network transmission line to be adjusted, a zero layer optical switch to be adjusted and a port to be adjusted of the zero layer optical switch to be adjusted according to the topology adjustment demand of the wide area optical network; and performing butt-joint switching on the port to be adjusted of the zero layer optical switch to be adjusted. Through the wide area optical network and the topology adjustment method based on a leased circuit provided by the application, the topology and transmission line of the wide area optical network can be dynamically adjusted on the basis of a leased circuit without right to control the optical network.
