The embodiment of the invention provides a task allocation method for a physical node of a distributed system. The method is used for a server, and comprises the steps: obtaining the environment information of the physical node from an enabling notification of the physical node which is newly added to the distributed system; searching a to-be-allocated task list, and determining whether there is a to-be-allocated task matched with the environment information of the physical node or not, wherein the to-be-allocated task list stores the required environment information corresponding to each to-be-allocated task; and allocating the matched to-be-allocated task to the physical node when there is the to-be-allocated task matched with the environment information. The method achieves the automatic allocation of the tasks of the physical node, simplifies the deployment of the distributed system, alleviates the daily maintenance burden of the distributed system, and improves the automation degree of the distributed system.
