Abstract

The invention provides a system for measuring a body height. The system comprises a central control device, a telescopic rod and a sensor group which is arranged at the top of the telescopic rod, wherein the telescopic rod comprises a control motor, a vertical guide rail and a movable rod; the movable rod is arranged in the vertical guide rail; the movable rod, under the control of the control motor, is moved up and down in the vertical guide rail in a vertical direction; the sensor group comprises a camera and a laser detector; the camera is used for detecting a human face; the laser detector is used for sensing the highest position of a human head; and the central control device is used for controlling motions of the telescopic rod and for recognizing the human face in accordance with image information which is returned by the camera so as to judge general height of a human body, and the central control device is further used for controlling an initial detection position of the laser detector in accordance with the general height of the human body. The system for measuring the body height provided by the invention can offer a relatively good human-computer interaction experience.
