Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a method for improving the quality of remote sensing images. The method comprises the steps that an original remote sensing image and a remote sensing image obtained after histogram equalization are decomposed through non-subsampled shearlet transform to obtain a low-frequency sub-band and a high-frequency sub-band respectively; 2, the low-frequency sub-band obtained after histogram equalization is subjected to PM filtering, the high-frequency sub-band of the original image is subjected to rotation threshold denoising and then subjected to guidance filtering; 3, and the low-frequency sub-band and the high-frequency sub-band which are obtained after processing are subjected to non-subsampled shearlet inverse transform. The technical scheme has the following advantages that PM filtering is used for the low-frequency sub-band, guidance filtering is used for the high-frequency sub-band, and a new remote sensing image algorithm based on non-subsampled shearlet transform is proposed; and by means of processing on a non-subsampled shearlet transform threshold, maximum noise filtering and the guidance filtering process, detail information of the images is enhanced, the resolution of the images is improved, and the anti-noise property of the images is enhanced.
