The assembly tool solves the problem that working performances and the service life of the airbag are affected due to the fact that the airbag inan existing assembly process is easily damaged. Meanwhile, the invention further discloses an assembly method for the air dome airbag. The assembly tool avoids the problem that scratches and damage are easily caused on the airbag by an auxiliary tool in an assembly process of an existing airbag, effectively prolongs the service life of the airbag; and moreover, the assembly process is time-savingand labor-saving, and is safe and efficient.
