Abstract

The technical scheme of the present invention discloses a polarized light wide view field transmission-type convergent illumination device and a polarized light wide view field transmission-type convergent illumination method. The method comprises the steps of separating the incident laser into a first beam of polarized light and a second beam of polarized light of which the polarization directions are vertical via a polarized beam splitting part; using the polarized beam splitting part to polarize and rotate the first beam of polarized light to enable the polarization directions of the firstbeam of polarized light and the second beam of polarized light to be same or reverse; using a polarized light synthesizing part to synthesize the second beam of polarized light and the first beam of polarized light after the polarization and rotation into a homodromous and coaxial synthesized light beam; integrating the synthesized light beam into the illumination light satisfying the view field requirements via a transmission-type beam expanding and converging part. Therefore, according to the technical scheme of the present invention, the two parts of polarized light of which the polarization directions are vertical in the incident laser can be utilized to carry out the polarized light illumination, and the laser energy waste is avoided.
