Abstract

An object of the present invention is to provide a flat conductor insertion jig and a flat conductor insertion method capable of easily and reliably inserting the front end portion of a flat conductorinto an insertion port of a connector. The flat conductor insertion jig (10) is used for inserting the front end portion (P1) of the flat conductor (P) toward the front of the connector (20), and hasthe following portion: a handle portion (11) for being grasped with a finger in the inserting operation; and the hook portion (12) as a side edge convex portion or a cut-out portion located immediately behind the front end portion (P1) of the flat conductor before the insertion of the connector (20). The hooked portion (P2) is formed, and the lower surface of the hooked portion (P2) of the circuit board is hooked after the flat conductor is inserted into the connector.
