Abstract

The invention discloses a safety protection system and method based on the Internet of things. The system includes a plurality of device ends assembled on safety helmets or safety shoes. Each device end includes a wearing detection module, a signal resolving module and a power module. The device ends are in communication connection with an Internet-of-things center through the signal resolving modules. The signal resolving modules are used for recording the cumulative use time and wearing state of the safety helmets or safety shoes and controlling on-off of the wearing detection modules. The beneficial effects are as follows: the wearing state of the safety helmets or safety shoes can be remotely checked, long-time wearing inspection in a low-power state can be realized, so that workers will not forget to wear the safety helmets or safety shoes; and there is no need for workers to charge the equipment or replace the battery repeatedly, and the problem that the detection equipment doesnot work due to forgetting is avoided.
