Abstract

The embodiment of the invention relates to an inverse-synthetic-aperture-radar (ISAR) space-target classification method and system, and belongs to the technical field of radar. The method includes: determining intensity information and location information of target scattering points in a collected target ISAR image according to the target ISAR image; determining feature information of the targetISAR image according to the location information and a preset distribution rule, wherein the feature information includes geometric structure feature information and scattering distribution feature information; determining a feature vector according to the intensity information, the geometric structure feature information and the scattering distribution feature information; and determining a category of a space target, which corresponds to the target ISAR image, according to the feature vector and a preset classifier. Through the technical solution provided by the embodiment, on the one hand,technical drawbacks that classification recognition effects in the prior art are not good, and limitation is large are avoided; and on the other hand, technical effects of precision and high efficiency of classification on the space object are realized.
